Gaskins touted the importance of the association during his decades-long run as the owner and president of the Jacksonville, FL-based L.C. Gaskins Construction Co. Participation in an association, he once said, is an obligation. He took pride in the fact that his company’s managers and supervisors took full advantage of AGC’s relevant programs, and acknowledged that the connection AGC creates between industry professionals and Washington policymakers is markedly valuable for doing business.
