Jack Kelley (2003)

Kelley retired as president of the renowned Brewer, ME-firm of Nickerson & O’Day in 2007, but remains connected to the industry and invested in its future. In fact, the company, which Kelly led for some 25 years, honored its former officer, establishing a scholarship in his name at the University of Maine for students pursuing a career in construction management. Kelly is largely credited with the company’s growth, helping Nickerson & O’Day establish a reputation for quality. He was a founding member of the Maine AGC’s Education Foundation, which also provides scholarships to the state’s construction students and frequently lectures at the university on topics such as construction ethics.
