Marvin M. Black (1991)
The Marvin M. Black Partnering Excellence Award, named for this past president, is among the most highly coveted honors in the industry. Black, a Georgia contractor whose company had a hand in many well-known projects, including work on the University of Georgia Bulldogs’ Sanford Stadium, was known for his innate ability to bring together and honor project stakeholders, facilitate communication and foster the achievement of the common goal.
